Tenancy & housing association

We work with housing associations, property owners and individual tenants to upgrade balconies across entire buildings. From a single tenant wanting a side awning, to a 60-unit association standardising balcony glazing, we handle the design, permits and installation.

Balcony glazing

Glazing a balcony adds usable floor area to every apartment in the building, dampens street noise noticeably, and protects the façade from weather damage. Our systems slide fully open in summer and close watertight in winter — so residents get an extra room for nine months of the year.

Important: Individual tenants need written approval from their association (bostadsrättsförening / hyresvärd) and, in most cases, a municipal building permit (bygglov) before installation. We handle the drawings and documentation needed for both — contact us early in your planning.

Side awnings for balcony privacy

In dense urban buildings, side awnings are the single best upgrade for balcony comfort. They block side sun, cut wind across the balcony, and stop direct line-of-sight from the neighbouring unit — deploying only when the resident wants them, with no permanent change to the façade. Ideal for BRFs that want a consistent look across the building.

For housing associations

Standardising balcony products across a building raises the property's market value, simplifies maintenance budgets and prevents the ad-hoc installations that degrade a façade over time. We're happy to present to your board and prepare a framework tender for the whole property.
